ok, so it has been a week or so since my last entry but that is because nothing too interesting or weird has happened for a while. also, going back to work has instantly drained every little bit of creativity out of my body through mind numbing routine, staring at computer screens and fluorescent lighting. my first day at my new job was not too bad though - i got paid for doing nothing and also got a free lunch. i think it is maybe the perfect way to start.
anyway, it is the weekend now so that means extra sleep and time to catch up on drawing pictures and writing internet crap. also, i am going to go into town in a minute and see if the natural world shop has any cheap fossils for sale today - it is only the prospect of doing this that has enabled me to survive the week without pouring coffee into work monitors or something.
ok, this is all getting pretty disjointed but the best thing about going to work is that i have to get up pretty early in the morning. it is perhaps not the best thing on its own but it means that i get to wander about outside before it is all smelly and horrible with people and exhausts and things.
yesterday, because it was early, i saw a heron being attacked by two crows and two foxes playing under a car (it is called the circle of life, i think). also, most of the people that you do see look like zombies with glazed over eyes and pallid skin. it is maybe the lack of alcohol or daytime tv in my neighbours' bodies but it is a lesson that they should perhaps learn - if you are going to take out the trash without putting clothes on it is maybe better for everyone to do it when the sun is not up.
