robo-squirrel update

ok, so you will be glad to know that recyclebot is settling in well. i think he should be happy in his new home between the right hand speaker and a jimi hendrix cd box set. he even has a screwdriver and a pair of surgical pliers nearby to play with. however, despite the numerous requests, he is not available for romantic liaisons. you should probably just read diesel sweeties instead to get your robot love fixes - if he was not just a piece of plastic it would probably be recyclebot's favourite website.

also, as promised, i have made recyclebot wallpaper:
1024x768 (40KB)
800x600 (28KB)

anyway, i think it is good to have a robot in a lab (even if it is only psychological) but what it is not good to have is squirrels. a lot of people in britain do not like the grey squirrels in this country because they are american imports and it is because of them that our native red squirrels are dying out but i do not mind them that much. i do not think it is their fault; they are not murdering red squirrels or anything - they are just trying to stay alive. it is maybe a case of rodent anthropomorphisation.

ok, so the squirrels seem to be plotting an invasion of the area in which i live. a few days ago there was one on my roof and yesterday there was one right outside my back door so i went out to watch it jump about and do other squirrel things. while i was watching it there were ten squirrels sneaking into the kitchen and stealing all my food. it was a squirrel decoy - they must have known that i was a squirrel sympathiser so they targetted me.

SQUIRRELS, THE INVASION DOES NOT HAVE TO BE HOSTILE.
