the sun
todays entry is just a short burst.
tonight is one of my favourite nights of the year because tonight the clocks go forward to british summer time. this means that tomorrow the sun will still be up at seven in the evening. there is nothing i like better than seeing the sun in the evening when the air is cool and clean and still a bit smelly because i am in london but you get the idea.
people in this country have a reputation for complaining about the weather all the time (and also eating roast beef) but i think that we have a great climate as soon as winter ends. spring and summer time in england can be really nice because we get lots of sunshine but it is not really that hot so things are still green. ok, so as long as i am not too hot or dehydrated or anything then i think that the sun is my favourite thing ever. it is big and yellow and happy and five billion years old and our whole existence is 100% reliant on it. can you think of anything better?
