mouse hunt

ok, so i only just put up a new entry yesterday but there has been a big development concerning previous diaryland writing. it is important to keep people up to date with the stupid things that go on around here otherwise those people who take these weblog things way too seriously will start to twitch or something. anyway, here is the news:

holy crap, the mouse was real. if you are new around here or you did not read entry number two about being haunted then you should maybe go and read it after you finish up with this page. anyhow, the ghost mouse is not a ghost any longer. yesterday evening i was in the kitchen making lazy cheese on toast (you just make two pieces of toast and then put a cheap milk cheese slice thing in between them so it melts) when something shot past me from behind a box and went under the cooker. i had jumped out of the way in surprise so when i turned around i could only see what looked like it's tail disappearing so it is still only a mouse theory right now.

i then spent a couple of minutes deciding whether i was going to get down on my hands and knees and look under the cooker but i figured that it was a bad idea. if the ghost mouse is able to assume real mouse form then who knows what else it could do to me. i was scared that it would spray me with ectoplasm or something even worse so i put a mouse trap out to try and get rid of it. however, i sort of hope that it just goes away on its own because i do not really want to have to kill a mouse for no good reason other than it is pissing me off. the next step is to try to turn my ghost cat into a real cat to chase the mouse away. i did think about trying to call the ghostbusters but they are probably getting pretty old by now and also THEY ARE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. so anyway i will probably just watch the film and try to get some tips.

next entry on friday.
paul.

p.s. sadly, since the initial writing of this entry, two mice have died in the jaws of the mouse trap. RIP mice.
