roots

ok, so first of all it is maybe relevant for me to explain to newcomers why this site is called the lab. first of all, i have a physics degree (albeit a crap one) and secondly it reflects the theme of my writing. basically, there is no theme; i just write whatever i am inspired to write and that is why the language is all wrong and sometimes my train of thought goes way off. some people find this sort of appealing or just weird or funny or whatever. chances are you will never learn anything too important here but you may come to realise that you can just do whatever you want and you don't have to follow the rules (as long as no-one gets hurt, yeah).

anyway, about two weeks ago i found some seed in a sock i found on my floor and so i planted it in a pot that used to have my cactus in it and guess what is growing now. yes, you guessed it, it is marijuana. ok, i'm just kidding but it IS weed - the sort of thing that garden lawn people tear out of the ground. i am pretty happy with the whole situation because i think that weeds get a bad press. sure they are ugly and they consume all the resources around them but then that kind of describes our species too.

i think having a weed in a pot is a good thing. it is a rebellion against people who only do what the garden tv programs tell them to do. also, it can take care of itself and eat CO2 and maybe colonise everyone elses house plants.

ok, so i am making this entry pretty disjointed. wait, i have used the words marijuana, weed and pot several times already. if you read between the lines you will see that morons can find hidden messages in any inoccuous piece of text because they do not understand the word coincidence. NOW read between the lines.

i am going to go lie down for a while.

paul.

p.s. the first person to correctly identify the actual hidden message wins an internet prize.
