kong

hooray, i got a plastic alien in my corn cereal this morning.

anyway, after that superb start to the day i went in to town to deal with some bureaucracy (it means government paperwork word fans) and when i had finished i went to the video shop to look at dvds. i gave up watching tv about two months ago because i could feel my brain rotting away with every home makeover or antique cookery show or whatever that i sat through. from now on i only watch tv for football (i am in england so i mean soccer) and, well that's pretty much it.

ok, so my life is not too entertaining on it's own right now so without tv i need things like films and internet to entertain me sometimes. actually, the internet is not too entertaining mostly and it only takes about 30 seconds to read scarygoround so films it is then. anyway, i was in the video shop and i noticed that there was a special offer of two dvds for ten pounds. this is very cheap so it is obvious that there would be a catch or all the films would be shit.

all the films were shit.

there were probably about 100 films to choose from and i could not find two that i wanted, even for ten quid. as far as i could see the only two good films they were selling were donnie darko and king kong (the original 1933 version) and i already have both. so i told the shop workers to screw it (not out loud though) and i went home but haha now i am watching king kong fighting against plastic dinosaurs and in a minute he is going to start eating villagers. if you have never seen the original then you should rush out and buy it. i can 100% guarantee that it will be better than peter jackson's remake (unless he is playing kong himself).
